Faux silver

This is a new technique that I am falling in love with.  Using silver embossing powder on Silver card stock to create a faux silver embellishment.  With this card I used a round silver frame stamp from Frames with a Flourish and used my circle punch to punch it out.  I really like the little bit of extra bling that it adds to a card.  Kim

Last week's Stampers Clubs....all about Vellum

Stampers 6 club was all about vellum this month.  We made 6 gift tags using different teqniques with the vellum, here is one of the cards I demo'd. Jo

 

Elegant Eggplant, barely banana, vellum card stock.  Rub-ons, So Saffron ribbon, Markers, old olive,elegant eggplant, almost amethyst, lovely lilac. big shot die.Scallop Envelope.

Specials galore.....

Good morning, I am just so excited about the retiring list coming out June 1st!!!!  This event is now being called 

LAST CHANCE SALE!!!  

The list comes out Monday June 1st and it will be all retiring Stamps, Accessories and I have a feeling there will be some

super specials too!!!!  

Last season items went sooooo fast and I had some disappointed customers, myself as well.  If you remember they bulked some items together and offered them at up to 50% off, OH I HOPE THEY DO THIS AGAIN.   So.... this time I am putting in an order on June 1st, I will be sending it through at ll:00pm.  So that will give you the day and evening to look over your catalogue.....   Of course this is just the first order I will put in but I just don't want to miss out on the specials,                     hey I love them too!!!!

June will be bringing some great hostess specials as well!!!  Plan to check out the site June 1st for all the great specials.

 

This is a wisteria that has only bloomed once before.  I was in Calgary 10 years ago attending my nephew Darren's wedding with Lindz.  I didn't get to see it.  I was so excited to see it bloom this year, 10 years later!!!!  Oh so beautiful, I look out from my bedroom window to see the beauty, I am so lucky!!!   Jo

Reminder and New Stamp and Stack

Wow, it has been a while since I have held a stamp and stack, so I will be having one Friday June19th, still in time to make a Father's Day Card.  I will be doing it a little bit different this time...  I have had so much fun using my big shot with my designer paper and using this one particular design that I am having all 6 designs the same so you will go home with 12 cards same design, different look!!!  Here is an example of what you MIGHT make!!  You will have so many options for greetings, You could actually make 12 cards for different occasions, I think it will be a lot of fun. You will be doing the regular embossing, piercing, using lots of designer paper and                                                  Lots of Big shot time too!!! 

Date:  Friday June 19th, 7:00 to 10:00

Cost:  $25.00, just bring your adhesive

It brightened my day,

Good morning, sorry for the lack of entries ladies, my computer had died and I only get on Jake's once in a while, so, Friday I had a migraine and later that day I received a piece of mail from a friend and it just brightened my day, made me smile, and the card was for NO reason at all, extra special!!! Thanks Margy:)  

One thing I loved about this card was that the entire back of the envelope was stamped using our large block stamps, I have never done this, but boy did it look awesome, and then I opened it and the card matched, very impressed.  Jo

There will  be NO  ttfmt's on the second Tuesday of each month because of my stampers 6 club.

Come on out and use my inks, stamps, punches etc....  refreshments too! 

This  is a great way to try some stamps you don't own, get some cards or scrap pages completed or just take some time for yourself!! 

I would appreciate you letting me know by the Monday before each Tuesday if you are coming over but If you decide last minute, just email or call to let me know your coming.

I always have paper, brads, etc... on hand to sell if you are looking for something in particular, or when you get here and get creating you just need a little extra bling, or a piece of hardware or well what ever!! 

This is a good time to try a new teqnique or ask questions as well.  Drop me a line and let me know if you think this is something you may attend from time to time, I would really appreciate your input.
