Instructions Par-fect card 1. Adhere Manchester Designer Series paper (5-3/8" x 2") to Mellow Moss card. 2. Wrap Always Artichoke 1/4" grosgrain ribbon around front of card and adhere. 3. Stamp “Hope your day is par-fect” in Always Artichoke ink on front of card. 4. Stamp golfer image in Jet Black StazOn ink on watercolor paper (2" x 2-1/2"). Watercolor image with Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze, Blush Blossom, Close to Cocoa, and Mellow Moss ink using Aqua Painter. Adhere paper to card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. 5. Clip prongs from Baja Breeze corduroy button and adhere to card using Mini Glue Dots.

OOH, I'm just so excited to be scrappin' again.  The NEW Scrap club starts Monday April 6th @ 7:00.

Just Baseball

My son had a birthday party this weekend for one of his friends from his baseball team.  I have had the Just Baseball set sitting and waiting for a while now so I decided to pull it out.  What better time to use it.  Nothing immediately came to mind so I went searching.  I was inspired by a few cards that I saw on Split Coast, but I didn't see anything that was actually shaped and designed like a baseball.  The first card that I made, I sponged with close to cocoa to try and make it look like a well loved baseball but when I showed it to my son, he said he really liked it except I got a lot of fingerprints on it.  I totally agreed.. it was not obvious what I was trying to achieve. lol I quickly whipped up another front for the card and we were both much happier with it. I haven't shown the side view but there is a front and a back.  I cut the two round pieces out, scored the front piece with a bone folder so that it would fold up and joined the two together with sticky strip.  I think the next time I made this card I would emboss the stitching with clear embossing powder just to make it stand out a bit more but overall I was very happy with the result.  Kim

Spring/Summer Stampers 6 classes (joanne)

Good morning Ladies, ok, so I have my favourite class/club figured out!!!

Calling all stampers/crafters

Stampers 6 club,

This is a 6 month commitment class where you come once a month, have a free class, meet with friends, have some laughs, hopefully learn a new technique or try a new product and place a $30.00 order.  The reason it is that amount is because every month we take a turn at being the hostessand you receive your free hostess set and at least $20.00 in free product. So,  $30.00 X 6 people = $180.00, we need $200.00 to qualify for hostess benefits so if we don't reach that I will add the extra $20.00 order and that way we have a  hostess club. When it is your month to host you are welcome to bring a friend and she can participate in the make and take as well.

 This will be my third round of running this type of club and it is just always so much fun.  I ask my hostess for that month what she would like to learn, do or see and we do it, so you always go home with a card or two, maybe a little project or just some samples from the big shot, always different and you guys always keep me thinking.  Having said all that, I am offering up this club firstly to my already existing members to re-join and then opening it up to everyone else. 

What I would love to do is run 2 groups of 6, and that way if you have to miss a class due to holidays you can pick it up the next week at the other club.  If you do have to miss, I just make your items and you pick them up with your order. It just always seems to work out and it is a great way of getting out of the house, did I say that!!! I meant getting away from all the boring stuff at home, did I say that? I meant just getting out once a month to meet with friends that all have a common love for STAMPING. 

 Tea, coffee and cookies too, ok, sometimes wine, lol.

The club will start Wednesday April 30th, and then run for the six months every third WWednesday of the month. Time: 7:00 to 9:00 at Joanne's

If I am lucky enough to get a second club running then it will run every second Tuesday in the month ( this can be discussed)

So, if you are interested, Love to stamp,  not afraid of commitment and Hate to drive in the winter!!!!

New Classes!!!!

Hi gals, ok, so I am dragging my but a bit.  I just can't seem to do it all these days,not sure why but I'm not liken' it.

I just love the new Occasions Mini coming out April 1st.  One of the benefits of being a demonstrator is that you get to try out some of the new sets before they come out.  This set is definitely one of my favourites from the new mini!  It's called "And many mower"  Perfect for the man in your life! Kim

Sale-a-bration gift set

This set was made with our Sale-a-bration free bee's, polka dot punches stamp set ribbon bundle and delicate dots designer paper, along with lots of other products.  This was made by Virginia, one of my Scrappers, well, stampers too!!  I have only known Virginia for a short time but I am wowed by her enthusiasm and love for crafting!!!  She made this set up to send to a family member in England and is working on a couple more, no doubt they will be finished lickity split!!!
