This was a very simple card, we used a decor elements stencil with gold encore ink. Embossed a greeting and then added a brushed gold scallop cut in half and popped it out each end. This was the fastest and easiest card at my stamp and stack yet looked elegant. Jo

I used the flower daisy #2 to create this beautiful big flower. I pulled my brad apart and only used the stone. The greeting is from the adorable set Sparkly and Bright!!!

Hi Again, well, people have been asking for me to do this class so here it is and I hope the date works well with people at this busy time of year.
Date: THURSDAY DEC. 3rd @ 7:00 pm, should take about 2, 2 1/2 hours. Coffee, tea and cookies like usual.
Joy Plaque: Fee for class and materials $26.00, just bring your tape runner and if you have tombow glue and or sticky strip.
I will have your board painted and ready for you to stamp and stencil on. I will give it a quick spray, then you will decorate the chipboard. Your letters and square pieces of chipboard will be different, or similar it is up to you. You will have the opportunity to adjust the design colours and look a bit.
You will add ribbon, buttons, flakes, brads, ooh so pretty. This would make a lovely gift or just a new decoration for yourself. If you have particular colours in mind please let me know and I will see what designer paper I have and try and have it ready for you.
Size of the wooden base is 16 x 5 1/2 inches.
Space will be limited to 8 people, please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested. If this date does not work I could probably do it the Saturday morning following too Dec. 5th. Have a great evening!

Well it was a very busy class last night, lots of crackers and tags being made. Here are a couple of Chantal's creations. She used Holiday Lounge designer paper. Her one end is open waiting to be filled with goodies. Making your own crackers is a lot of fun and being able to personalize them is pretty cool.
Below I created a shadow box using the Holiday Lounge paper as my inspiration. I just added a few filigree brads and the Joy ornament from Stampin' Up and my box was complete. Jo
Lately, I have been pulling out my old retired supplies and putting them to use. It has been really fun using some of my old favourites. I love the way this birthday card turned out, a mix of new and old. The stamp set (everything nice) is from the current catalogue as is the big shot die I used for the cupcake. But the designer paper is last years Christmas paper. I thought it was perfect for a more masculine card. Kim

And last of the group, Val. Val's designer paper is a beautiful Perfect Plum, it is hard to see the colour, she matched it will silver embossed ornaments and used the platinum shimmer paint on the letters and snowflake, man, it looks embossed but easier, way to go Val.

So, I was dying to get this set for the longest time. I finally got it about a month ago and wouldn't you know it, it has been sitting unused ever since. Today though I had 4 birthday cards to make so I figured this was my chance to break it out. I have the feeling that you will be seeing a lot of cards from me made with this set. : ) It uses the two-step stamping technique with a stamp-a-ma-jig. I love the way it gives the flowers dimension.
